Program Overview (from the program website):
The Education Pioneers Analyst Fellowship is a full-time, paid, 10-month program that places talented early career professionals into mission-critical roles in school districts, charter management organizations, nonprofits, and other leading education organizations. Analyst Fellows leverage the skills and knowledge gained from previous work experience to manage strategic, data-based projects and accelerate our Partners' important work. Complemented by professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and community service projects, the Analyst Fellowship provides exposure and access to successful leaders, organizations, and initiatives in urban education. The Fellowship equips Analyst Fellows to challenge themselves, discuss key education issues credibly and skillfully, advance their professional skills, understand key leadership career paths in education, and develop individual leadership styles to create change in education. In 2012, the Analyst Fellowship will place approximately 60 Analyst Fellows in the Greater Boston Area, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York Metro Area, and the state of Texas. The majority of placements in Texas are in Dallas and Houston with 1-3 total placements in San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley. Additionally, a small number of Fellows (2-6) will be placed in Chicago, DC Metro Area, Denver, Nashville, and New Orleans. |
