Program Overview (from the program website):

The Desk Assistant position is designed to give recent college graduates practical experience in a broadcast news setting. Desk Assistants are exposed to all aspects of producing a nightly television news program. We are currently accepting applications for our summer term (July 9, 2012 to January 11, 2013). The Desk Assistant position pays $9 an hour with overtime eligibility. As it is a temporary position, we are unable to provide health benefits.
