Organization Overview:SeaPlan is an independent not-for-profit organization working toward vibrant coastal economies sustained by healthy oceans and supported by best practices in ocean management. Since 2006, SeaPlan has worked in partnership with government, marine-dependent industry, the scientific community, and conservation organizations. Primary practice areas include data integration and analysis, ocean use characterization, decision support tools development, stakeholder engagement and communications, indicators development and program design and management. SeaPlan is currently a team of 5 full time staff and several subcontracted professional service teams. Position Summary:The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of SeaPlan projects emphasizing science integration for ocean planning in Massachusetts and the Northeast. Primary responsibilities will include in-house substantive analysis and client service delivery as well as managing the work of subcontractors, including developing scopes of work/budgets and reviewing deliverables. Other duties will include managing project teams, supporting project-related stakeholder outreach and communications, and representing SeaPlan’s work at relevant conferences. The position is based in Boston; compensation includes a competitive salary commensurate with experience and benefits.
