Position Description:
The YMCA of the USA is hiring a Youth Development Partnerships and Policy Specialist to support our youth development public policy portfolio which includes: early childhood education, afterschool, summer learning, juvenile justice, mentoring, child nutrition, child safety, and other issues that may impact Y's such as community service. We are seeking a motivated individual with 3-4 years of youth development/education policy experience to work with Congress and Executive Branch officials to help build YUSA’s presence among national and federal stakeholders. This position will promote YUSA’s national legislative agenda on the Hill, with administration and federal agency officials, and will include working with coalitions regarding Y-USA's youth/family/education agenda.
