research, public awareness, advocacy and programs, the foundation works to elevate the field of

school. Through our Bezos Scholars Program and Students Rebuild initiative, we offer young people
worldwide a dynamic way to learn, connect and take action on critical local and global issues.

About the position

A small, tight knit team of fun, energetic doers is seeking a new member to provide project management
and communications support to Students Rebuild, a collaborative initiative led by the Bezos Family
Foundation. Students Rebuild inspires young people to team up, tap their creativity, and take action on
global issues in ways that generate matching funds from the foundation for on-the-ground relief and
rebuilding efforts. Since its launch in the aftermath of the devastating Haiti earthquake in 2010,
Students Rebuild has mobilized thousands of young people in 38+ countries and all 50 U.S. states,
generating over $1 million in donations for rebuilding schools in Haiti, youth facilities in Japan, and now
rebuilding lives in Congo and Somalia. Much more than a series of quick-fix fundraising efforts, Students
Rebuild allows young people to see how they are connected to the global community through
interactive video conferences, live blogging, webumentaries and more throughout the school year.
Building on past successes and lessons learned, the Students Rebuild Project Manager will help align
current efforts for greatest possible impact while exploring new possibilities to ensure the sustainability,
credibility and relevance of Students Rebuild for young people and educators.
